Saved Itself...

This is my first composition on the iPad. Or any tablet, really. I got this thing so I can design and develop for the iOS platform. This word processor types in Courier and feels nostalgically like the Selectric II that I was supposed to have learned Mavis Beacon's Typing Method on when I was in FBLA back in junior high. Before all sorts of discoveries sidetracked me from the quest to best 80words per minute... I keep adding two spaces after every period. Old school, and not in the cool way, as I was recently told by a blogger. Wish I could add images to this document. It's be the perfect tool for blogging. Maybe I'll suggest it. Right after I figure out how to save this document... BRB, as the kids say...

...appears to save itself. How handy. Shouldn't we all possess that ability?

OK. Now, I'm gonna post this. Or attempt to post it. To my blog. And since this thing supports emailing, and my preferred (and the absolute best) blogging platform takes emails and turns them automagically into blog posts, this oughta be a breeze. Or a snap. Both of which sound pretty easy to me.

Comfortjoy

I watch truly gifted baristas; they're hardcore coffee people.  I love to watch gifted folks doing what they do.  It's almost a religion.  Think about it, for a sec.  There's reverence and ritual in what they do and how they do it.  And the why of it all  is infinitely simple, too.  Because they love it, and  - by extension - you:  They're sharing their love of coffee and tea craft with you, and they take a pure and unadulterated delight in your enjoyment of it.  Other than a small flourish if foam art , they're striving to be as transparent as possible between you and the product.  And it's comforting to feel someone take such joy in what they do...
